Celebrated in Nashville for the first time this year, National Radio Hall of Fame (NRHoF) inductees will be voted on beginning May 20, with four Country nominees among the 24 on this year's ballot: Compass/Silverfish Media's Big D & Bubba, Premiere's Crook & Chase, WPOC/Baltimore morning host Laurie DeYoung and Guinness World Record Holder and KVST/Conroe, TX host Mary McCoy. "It’s an honor and a privilege to see well-established on-air careers recognized with an induction; every vote makes a difference in the outcome," says Co-Chairman Kraig T. Kitchin.
Voting will be open through June 3. The top six vote recipients will be inducted, along with two inductees selected by the Nominating Committee. Inductees will be announced June 17. For the first time, this year's ceremonies will move outside of New York or Chicago and will be held Sept. 19 at the Omni Hotel Nashville. Ticket information will be released soon.
