BREAKING NEWS

» Curb Restructures Promotion; Hires Keshe, Sandor: Curb has restructured its promotion department, expanding the duties of Dir./National Promotion Mike Rogers and hiring Promotion Executives Stephanie Keshe and Annie Sandor, coming from Nine North and CO5, respectively. Curb is also enhancing its Country promotion efforts in syndication and satellite radio, with the label's Pop and Christian promoters Sean Hannon and Jaymi Chernin adding those duties for Country to their existing responsibilities.

The label is also eliminating regional boundaries for its promoters. "The Curb promotion team will no longer be defined by regional geography," says EVP/GM Dennis Hannon. "Our focus and new business model will instead concentrate on promoting and marketing music and building relationships throughout the country. We now have the right team of people in place to achieve that goal; 2010 is going to be an exciting year for us."

VP/Promotion Adrian Michaels said of Keshe and Sandor, "Both of these women bring their own unique qualities and cutting edge skills with them. Their level of professionalism, experience and passion for the music business are unrivaled. We are very excited to have them join us."

And, as reported Tuesday (CAT 2/9), Samantha DePrez was officially elevated to Promotion Coordinator at the label.
